LOCATION
Villa Marina is found on the hillside of Mavrikiano, 1 km away from the town of Elounta, 5 km from the picturesque fishing village of Plaka and just 10 km away from the city of Aghios Nikolaos. The city of Heraklion, home of the international airport and main port, is only 70 km away. The villa decorates a hillside with views of the sea, which is just 200m away.
FACILITIES
Villa Marina offers all modern comforts: Flat screen TVs with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi Internet access, air-conditioning in all areas, fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms with personal care amenities. Bathrobes and extra pool towels are offered to guests. In the case one of the guests is a baby, all the necessary equipment is offered upon request (baby cot bed etc.).
For security reasons, an alarm system is installed in the villa and a safety box is also offered. Villa Marina offers a comfortable car-parking area, a pool (heated at extra charge), sunbeds and garden furniture, a fully equipped BBQ and an outdoor fridge.

Even though the facilities of Villa Marina allow you to be fully autonomous and independent, extra facilities may be added if you so wish: Housekeeping, personal cook, car rental etc. These services are offered upon request and extra charges apply.
HOW TO REACH
The closest airport and port are found in the city of Heraklion, 70km from Villa Marina.
Driving out of the International Airport N. Kazantzakis, follow the national road Heraklion-Aghios Nikolaos signs towards the direction of the city of Aghios Nikolaos. Just before the entrance of the city of Agios Nikolaos, you will meet a junction, where you will turn left towards the town of Elounda. Leaving the city of Elounda behind you, drive for a couple of minutes and then turn left on the hillside towards Mavrikiano.
Driving out of the port of Heraklion, find the closest entrance to the national road Heraklion-Aghios Nikolaos. Drive following the above-mentioned directions.
THE VILLA
Villa Marina is a luxurious house spread over three levels, with a total area of 700 sqm. Its architecture is fully in harmony with the landscape: both in the exterior and in the interior, the characteristic gray stone of the Lasithi land is dominated by a combination of wood in the floors and furniture, which gives a ton of warmth and luxury in space. The villa is endowed with expensive, carefully selected furniture and decorative items in earthy tones and features all the modern comforts such as flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, air-conditioning, and free wi-fi. The large openings allow for the insuperable view of the tranquil bay to invade all the spaces creating a unique atmosphere while each floor has a spacious terrace and modern bathrooms.
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor has direct access to the large swimming pool, a refreshingly furnished terrace and a garden with lush greenery. It has a large living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a gym (with a walkway and a step), a bathroom with a shower and three bedrooms with double beds, one of which has its own bathroom. The sophisticated aesthetics of the area, the precise furnishings and the direct contact with the pool’s wet element are the elements that characterize Villa Marina’s ground floor.
1st Floor
Going to the first floor of Villa Marina, luxury also climbs up. Here is the large kitchen, which has its own veranda with dining area, for those who want to enjoy their dinner out in the evenings and overlooking the magnificent view of Elounda bay. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and all the necessary appliances.
On the floor there is a large single space with dining and living room, tastefully decorated in earthy tones and luxurious furniture made of expensive wood. The uninterrupted views of the sea and the Spinalonga are unmatched in all areas, including the imposing master bedroom here, featuring a king-size bed and a large, modern bathroom with a bathtub. The floor is also served by an auxiliary WC, while it also offers a large single terrace accessible to both the master bedroom and the living room.
2ND FLOOR
On the second floor of Villa Marina the view becomes even more panoramic and impressive. The floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, a small auxiliary kitchen, a comfortable living room and of course a spacious terrace. All the rooms have the guarantee of high aesthetics and luxury that characterizes Villa Marina as a whole.
SWIMMING POOL & GARDEN
The feel of the comfort and luxury of Villa Marina is also transported to its outer spaces. The estate, with a total area of 4,000 m², on the slopes of Mavrikianos, is occupied by a lush garden with trees, ornamental plants and imposing exotic palm trees. In this dreamy setting is the large swimming pool (16x5m) which is also heated (at extra charge). The Meramelo

Olives, carobs, almonds, thyme and oregano that spread everywhere their scents dominate the landscape. Explore the beautiful villages that retain their Cretan architecture and traditional colors such as Fourni, Karydi, Vroucha, but also the most majestic Kritsa and Kroustas where it is worth tasting the excellent local cuisine. Visit the archaeological site of the Doric town of Drios, near Neapolis, as well as the archaeological site of Latos, near Kritsa, which has been one of the most powerful ancient cities of Crete and is built in a landscape of unique beauty. It is also worth a visit to the monastery of Aretios and the Byzantine churches of Kritsa. Saint Nicholas
The seaside town of Agios Nikolaos is less than 10 km from Villa Marina.
